More Florida fun!

It was so great to be able to visit with other friend too. My best friend from high school, Kristy and her husband Dennie joined us for drinks on our hotel deck, then to Downtown Disney and out to dinner. It's always good to hang out with good friends.

We also had the opportunity to visit my Godparents Uncle Jim and Aunt Carol. She made us a delicious fish fry with all the fixings. My cousin Jim and his wife Naomi and her dad joined in on the fun too. It's nothing like a home cooked meal and good time with family in the middle of vacation.

Then my aunt and uncle, by the kindness of their hearts babysat Andrew towards the end of the week while Ryan and I spent the day at Universal by ourselves. We really appreciated that and Andrew thanks you so much for his new Elmo friend. Thank you also for the oranages off your tree, fresh sqeezed orange juice and your hospitality.

Busch Gardens and visiting the Kings

Our vacation continued...To Busch Gardens on a 85 degree day. Andrew will never remember his time at the park, but we will remember how much he smiled. He didn't take a nap until 3 pm because he was so curious about everything. Ryan and I couldn't ride the roller coasters together, but we still had fun (we did Child Swap where one of us ride and then we switch). Andrew did great in the heat and with all the activities considering he is only 6 months old.

We then spent Friday eveing with the Kings whom are our good friends from Seminary. The kiddo's are getting so big and are darling. This was their first time meeting Andrew, so we had lots to talk about. Andrew loved playing with the big kids! Jerimiah is our God son and he really took to Ryan well. Not so much me...there is always next time. Thanks Kings for the nice visit and comfortable bed!

Bathing beauty and hunks!

After a 2 hour delay on the air plane because of sleeting conditions in St. Louis, we made it to Clearwater Beach. We were definitely the most "butt-whited" folks there. Andrew loved eating the sand and after awhile we gave up saying no...no harm done. 85 degrees and sunny..it was awesome! We met up with our friend Nate who joined us for the sunset and an awesome seafood dinner. Then we stayed at his beautiful house that night. Good conversation and it was so good to see him. Thanks Nate!

Keep your Hat on!

The Florida sun is hot and bright, so for the last couple days I have been trying to put a hat on Andrew so when we are there he will cooperate. You can see for yourself how this played out....

Welcome Babies!

Congratuations Erin and Brian on your baby girl, Micaiah Noel! What an amazing gift from God!! She is so adorable and looks so alert on all the pictures. She has cheeks that you just can't resist kissing so we are sending kisses from afar.

Congratulations to our friends Tim and Robyn too. Jake is now 2 1/2 weeks old! He too is so cute. Andrew and Jake have already had 2 play dates! Ryan was privledged to baptize Jake this past Sunday. God's richest blessings!

Congratulations to our friends Brian and Allison who also just had a baby boy. They were suppose to come to our house for dinner on Saturday night, but we received a phone call from them that Allison was in labor and they were headed to the hospital. Most of the food was already made...let's just say Ryan, Andrew and I had a nice dinner. We look forward to meeting Jack soon.

Andrew has been eatting rice cereal for 2 weeks now. He makes a mess which is quite a hoot. Well, atleast for now we think it is funny. The ironic thing is that he used to sleep through the night and then once we started to feed him he started to get up at 4am. I believe we are back on track again. I guess time will tell. This is a video of him today.

Happy Belated Valentine's Day everyone. We had a lovely day! Daddy made us (well me) breakfast in bed (pancakes), then to see the movie 27 Dresses, and then out for dinner. What a wonderful day.

Andrew surprised Daddy and got his picture taken with Cardinal stuff. Daddy loved it!


Andrew has been rolling from his back to tummy since the end of December and that is when this video was taken. This is my first attempt at adding a video to the blog. It's kind of funny that I missed him acturally rolling over, but you get the point.

*For our friend Liz, who's mom passed away on Thursday. She fought breast cancer for many years (10?). She was only in her 40's.

*For our friend Karen, who is 21 weeks pregnant and lost her baby today.

OUR BABY BOY IS 6 MONTHS OLD TODAY!

Here he is at 5 months...
Andrew is an amazing baby boy...the smartest one in the world! :) We have been having so much fun together especially now that he interacts with us, giggles and shares his opinion. As you can see he is a happy little boy, but we think we see a little feisty personality coming on...I guess we will have to wait and see. Off to Chicago for a conference and family fun!

Andrew has really been interested in his surroundings, so going to the zoo for example has been entertaining and fun. We love him so much.
